As far as I know, this is the only carpet with 42 spirals (Update: there are a lot more in the meantime). I use it on a Gretsch Maple Snare 14x5 and am completely thrilled. Although you pay a lot of money, but you get a hand-soldered snare carpet, which gives the snare really that extra. And as a pleasant side effect, the snare responds (presumably due to the higher weight of the snare carpet) with less rustling when playing the surrounding toms.
